There are no refunds for any of our online courses. Our live
courses each have separate refund policies. Please check the course
description for details.
We do offer need-based scholarships in exchange for volunteer work.
If you have financial need, please send
us an email describing your financial need, your history with
cannabis and your educational goals. Also state any volunteer skills
you could contribute to the Academy, such as graphic design or Internet
research skills. Put the word "Scholarship Request" in
the subject of the email. Each request will be evaluated on a case-by-case
basis. Please allow up to 2 weeks for a response.
Credit Transfer or Credit for Life Experience
We may allow you to transfer credits from another institution, or
use life experience to test out of some of the certification requirements.

Some of our legal courses are accredited through the Colorado
Supreme Court's Board of Continuing Legal Education. Please check
the course description for details.
We are not considered an occupational or trade school
under the laws of the state of Colorado. Our school offerings are
solely avocational, supplementary, and ancillary in nature. We provide
a general cannabis and hemp education. While cannabis or hemp certification
may help you obtain a job or start a new career in the cannabis
or hemp industries, our courses are not designed to help
anyone meet the requirements of any recognized occupation in any
state. Our certification authority comes solely from our organization's
long history of dedication to high-quality and accurate cannabis
and hemp education.
We take our certification program seriously. If you ever have a
complaint about anyone portraying themselves as a Certified Cannabis
Specialist, Certified Cannabis Professional or Certified
Cannabis Caregiver, please contact
CHA immediately. The Cannabis Hemp Academy will investigate
the complaint and take action as necessary. This could include discussion
with the student to correct the situation, compulsory education,
or revocation of the student's designation. We maintain the highest
standards in our program and have a zero-tolerance policy for sub-standard
Cannabis Code of Ethics
Anyone certified as a Certified Cannabis Specialist, Certified
Cannabis Professional, Certified Cannabis Caregiver
from the Cannabis Hemp Academy shall abide by the following ethical
1. Provide professional services with integrity.
2. Carefully consider the client's best interests.
3. Maintain educational and ethical requirements for their designation.
4. Give information, not advice. Never give legal or medical advice.
5. Make referrals to other specialists as needed.
6. Keep all client information confidential and not disclose any
of the client's information without the client's consent.
7. Maintain a procedure for processing complaints.
